Noor and I met in March 2010 at a coffee shop in JBR's walk, and despite attempts by mutual friends to set us up, we met by coincidence. We ended up talking for hours and were together ever since. She flew to Canada to visit her family, and I showed up a couple of days later to surprise her.
There I pulled out all the stops, first by giving her a poem and an album with a collage of photos of her life before we met and our time together. Secondly, I recited a quote from our favorite romantic movie "the notebook". Finally, I got down on one knee and popped out the ring. She became emotional at first sight and with every surprise her eyes began watering a little bit more. She couldn't believe it when she saw the ring and she gave me a hug and went downstairs to share her special moment with her family.

Our Wedding Planning Experience
Where do we even begin to express how magical Carousel was in creating our dream wedding. The entire Carousel team, led by Zainab, went above and beyond to ensure our special day is filled with magical moments to be cherished forever. They took all our desires, requests and a few last minute changes to heart making the entire event feel like a fairy tale.
Our worries and distractions faded away as they set our spirits at ease. We were relaxed and carefree throughout the entire experience and beyond! The day could not have been more perfect. From the exquisite design of the bouquet to the extra care they took and time spent on every detail, it was evident we had picked the best. Carousel allowed us to personalize our wedding and remained flexible with our sentimental requests; even in our most extravagant dreams, we could not have imagined such a romantic and more perfect day!
Carousel helped set the stage for our lives together accenting spontaneity, fun and romance. Their passion and dedication to excellence compels us to tell everyone we know and strangers we meet about their wonderful service
Honeymoon
We chose Lily Beach Resort & Spa, Maldives for our honeymoon location. We chose this location because there were over 300 excellent reviews on tripadvisor.com. We can confirm that every one of those reveiws was right. The place is simply amazing and if you go to the Maldives, this is certainly the place to stay. We stayed at the Lily for 10 nights as one of our stops on a honeymoon encompassing Asia and Continental Europe.
Our holiday was chosen due to its exclusive, romantic, unique and charming nature and Lily certainly lived up to this requirement..
We arrived at Male airport and had arranged for a sea plane to collect us and take us to the resort; from there our wonderful adventure began. Without wanting to give too much away but the staff were all friendly, wonderful and committed to making sure we were spoilt and made to feel extra special; always with a smile on their face and a charming, warm and engaging personality. In my view it is the people who work there that make this place amazing.
Our room, a water villa, was wonderful... The view simply breathtaking...The facilities were awesome and the food was incredible – gourmet service, the afternoon tea on the deck overlooking the sea, the evening glass of white wine whilst watching the sunset, it just goes on and on…
Concluding our Asian-European honeymoon, we were fortunate enough to return to Dubai following a perfect six-night stay in Budapest, Hungary at their top-rated Corinthia Grand Royale Hotel. Our room was on the executive level club lounge with amazing choices of aperitifs, wine and champagne flowing all day. The central location of the hotel meant we found it easy to navigate around to the Opera house, their shopping district, restaurants and museums. The only downside was that our stay was so good it was hard to leave the hotel. This is a place not to be missed, and we certainly want to go back and stay there again.
