The Story

The wedding of Fares and Angy is said to be one of the most talked about weddings in Lebanon. The wedding was simple yet lavish with a stage and catwalk extending into the water. The couple share their wedding details below.

The Wedding

The wedding, which was on October 5th, 2008, took place at the Phoenician Wall of Batroun in Batroun, Northern Lebanon. With 600 guests attending the wedding, the theme was inspired by the red apple, and the colors were red and white. Everything was either red or white, including the chairs decorated with a red apple and white flower, the groom's white suit, the red bridal bouquet annd even the bride's gorgeous red hair! A white stage and catwalk crossed over the water, creating a beautiful backdrop of the Mediterranean sea for the couple to exchange their vows.

The bride arrived by boat to the venue and walked across the catwalk to her waiting groom.

The couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful ceremony with the sun setting in the background.

The bride, with stunning red hair, wore a wedding dress designed by Lebanese designer Rabih Kayrouz. Her hair was styled by Tony Mondalak and her makeup was applied by Roula Riachi.
